Why do you want to download music illegally? If you can create and you are working on it for a living, you would not want your artistic efforts infringed upon, so why do this to others?

You can also watch your favourite band on YouTube or just listen to the music while you work on your computer. Do a search for "youtube (name of favourtie band)" and take your pick from YouTube listing.
You can also learn to play some musical instruments from YouTube. I discovered this while working on my "Recycled Musical Ware" project.
