MISSING 3 YEAR OLD (Half Truth)

This is partially true as the child went missing in USA and not in Malaysia, as the email may seem to imply. She went missing on May 17th 2006 and there is a possibility that the live in boyfriend of her aunt, who is her guardian, was involved in the case. It is very troubling what lengths people will go to steal something!
Most of the time I lock my car on the door lock inside when I exit the car. Little did I know that that is the best way to lock your car, according to what a friend sent me on the internet. Read on......

I personally checked with the local police and they confirmed that this was happening.

While traveling, my friend stopped at the roadside reststop with bathrooms, vending machines, etc. He came out to his car less than 4-5 minutes later and found someone had gotten into his car, and stolen his cell phone, laptop computer, GPS navigator, briefcase... ..you name it.

He called the police and since there were no signs of his car being broken into- the police told him that there is a device that robbers are using now to clone your security code when you lock your doors on your car using your key-chain locking device (transmitter) .


They sit a distance away and watch for their next victim. Since they know you are going inside of the store, restaurant, or bathroom, it gives them a few minutes to steal and run.


The police officer said to be sure to manually lock your car door by hitting the lock button inside the car, that way if there is someone sitting in a parking lot watching for their next victim, it will not be you.

When you hit the lock button on your car upon exiting...it does not send the security code, but if you walk away and use the door lock on your key chain- it sends the code thru the airwaves where it can be stolen.

I just wanted to let you know about this...it is something totally new to us...and this is real...it just happened this past Thursday.

So be aware of this and please pass this note on...look how many times we all lock our doors with our keys (transmitters) ...just to be sure we remembered to lock them....and bingo the guys have our code...and whatever was in the car...can be gone.

Help Burned Baby, Alexandra (Half Truth)

The name of the baby in the picture is actually Ola Kuczma and not Alexandra as claimed in the email. The incident did happen in 2005, however, forwarding the email will do nothing to help little Ola or her family.

The oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the only way for the gasoline price is up, medias reporting brisk car sales in China and India, power hungry nations building more power plants to grow their economy, the growth of dragon(China) and elephant(India) will gobble up most of the world resources; oil reserve going down and depleting in 50 years time, this is how we are being conditioned(brain washed)

NOW we need to act together to show them(oil companies and OPEC) that BUYERS can control the marketplace... not sellers.

The only way we are going to see the price of gas coming down to a reasonable level is if we hit oil companies' revenue by not buying their products! And, we can do it WITHOUThurting ourselves.

How? Since many of us owned and rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gasoline!!!!

But we CAN have an impact on gas price if we all act together to force a price war among the oil companies!!!

Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T buy gasoline from the two biggest companies, EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL, some car owners being brain washed to use a particular brand of petrol in order to keep their car engines in tip top condition which is not true, any brand will work well for your cars, you can reconfirm this if you have a friend who is a petroleum engineer, If not, just fill up your tank with another brand which you never used before to confirm it.

When the oil companies that we are boycotting are not selling any gas for a week, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit; oil companies work like a cartel !!!!

To have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon-Mobil and SHELL gas buyers.. In the past, it was an uphill task but now, it's really simple to reach millions even billions of people. Keep reading and I will show you how to do it through the power of internet.

I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x10 =3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!

Find out where these health tips could possibly come from. Are there any truth in them?

1) Answer the phone by LEFT ear.
(According to Hoax Slayer, this is a misleading "warning" message that serves no useful purpose as there is no evidence to suggest that using the left ear will in any way decrease health risks related to mobile phone use.)

2) Do not drink coffee TWICE a day.
(That may doubles the risk of miscarriage)

3) Do not take pills with COOL water.
Wikihow said to take pills with cool and not cold water. Could be a typo error here.)

4) Do not have HUGE meals after 5pm.
(According to Dr Atkins' New Diet Revolution, we should stay away from pasta and potato, in favour of pure protein, in the evening.)

5) Reduce the amount of OILY food you consume.
(Oily foods will cause acne? Not true according to Women's Health Information.)

6) Drink more WATER in the morning, less at night.
(Logic decrees that if you drink more at night, you would get up more frequent to pee thus disrupting your sleep.)

7) Keep your distance from hand phone CHARGERS.
(At Hoax Slayer, and About.com, the email is about not using the phone while it is being charged. It added that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission does not identify using a cell phone while it is being charged as an unsafe practice in its article about Cell Phone Battery Safety.)

8) Do not use headphones/earphone for LONG period of time.
(It's Your Health reported "risk of hearing loss" listening to high sound levels for long periods of time.)

9) Best sleeping time is from 10pm at night to 6am in the morning.
(Not true according to Dr Christian Guilleminault, MD, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the School of Medicine but according to Ayurveda, that's the best time.)

10) Do not lie down immediately after taking medicine before sleeping.
(According to article by the National Institute for Health Research's on "The different ways of taking medicine", the advise is, if possible stand or sit upright).

11) When battery is down to the LAST grid/bar, do not answer the phone as the radiation is 1000 times.
(Read 10 Cell Phone Radiation Protection Tips posted by Lim Fang Yin. I could not find anything on it but its confirmed that radiation from mobile phones cannot cook an egg. Read "Fresh fears over mobile phones" from BBC News and find out research carried out about it.)

In November, a rare kind of breast cancer was found. A lady developed a rash on her breast, similar to that of young mothers who are nursing. Because her mammogram had been clear, the doctor treated her with antibiotics for infections. After 2 rounds, it continued
To get worse, so her doctor sent her for another mammogram. This time it showed a mass.
A biopsy found a fast growing malignancy. Chemo was started in order to shrink the growth; then a mastectomy was performed; then a full round of Chemo; then radiation. After about 9 months of intense treatment, she was given a clean bill of health.

She had one year of living each day to its fullest. Then the cancer returned to the liver area. She took 4 treatments and decided that she wanted quality of life, not the after effects of Chemo. She had 5 great
Months and she planned each detail of the final days.

After a few days of needing morphine, she died. She left this message to be delivered to women everywhere:

Women, PLEASE be alert to anything that is not normal, and be persistent in getting help as soon as possible.

Paget's Disease: This is a rare form of breast cancer, and is on the outside of the breast, on the nipple and aureole It appeared as a rash, which later became a lesion with a crusty outer edge. I would not have ever

Suspected it to be breast cancer but it was. My nipple never seemed any different to me, but the rash bothered me, so I went to the doctor for that. Sometimes, it itched and was sore, but other than that it didn't bother me. It was just ugly and a nuisance, and could not be cleared up with all the creams prescribed by my doctor and dermatologist for the dermatitis on my eyes just prior to this outbreak. They seemed a little concerned but did not warn me it could be cancerous.

Now, I suspect not many women out there know a lesion or rash on the nipple or aureole can be breast cancer. (Mine started out as a single red pimple on the aureole. One of the biggest problems with Paget's disease of the nipple is that the symptoms appear to be harmless. It is frequently thought to be a skin inflammation or infection, leading to unfortunate delays in detection and care.)

What are the symptoms?

1. A persistent redness, oozing, and crusting of your nipple causing it to itch and burn (As I stated, mine did not itch or burn much, and had no oozing I was aware of, but it did have a crust along the outer edge on one side.)

2. A sore on your nipple that will not heal. (Mine was on the aureole area with a whitish thick looking area in center of nipple).

3. Usually only one nipple is effected. How is it diagnosed? Your doctor will do a physical exam and should suggest having a mammogram of both breasts, done immediately. Even though the redness, oozing and crusting closely resemble dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), your doctor should suspect cancer if the sore is only on one breast. Your doctor should order a biopsy of your sore to confirm what is going on.

This message should be taken seriously and passed on to as many of your relatives and friends as possible; it could save someone's life.

My breast cancer has spread and metastasized to my bones after receiving mega doses of chemotherapy, 28 treatments of radiation and taking Tamaxofin. If this had been diagnosed as breast cancer in the beginning,

Perhaps it would not have spread...

Please Read For Your Kids Sake!!! A New Danger in Schools
This is a new drug known as 'strawberry quick'

There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.

There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards . They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick.

Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to emergency in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.

Please instruct your children to not accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believe it is candy) and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. immediately.

Pass this email on to as many people as you can (even if they don't have kids) so that we can raise awareness and hopefully prevent any tragedies from occurring.
