But if you curious about past, present or future eclipses, NASA has posted information about them on their Eclipse HomePage. You will read that there will be a total eclipse of the moon on 28 August 2007, though.

It is a hoax, this email started back in 2003 (Mars was pretty close but not nearly as close as the moon.) The email is bogus!!!
I am not able to access the link Jasneh provided to verify information. I am sure though that I have read this message way back before I started this blog.
