Setting up business in Malaysia

Want to set up a company in Malaysia? You can:

1) find useful information at Malaysia Industrial Development Authority (MIDA).

2) do it online through an e-lodgement service introduced by Companies Commission of Malaysia. First, take a look at their Registration Guide.

3) get a loan to start it from Majlis Pembangunan Ekonomi Belia through Persatuan Usahawan Graduan Malaysia (Malaysian Graduates Entrepreneurs Association) or PUGM programme.

4) get how-to articles, business forms, free business software, online training, self-assessment exercises, quizzes and resources to help start, finance, formalize, and grow your businesses from Malaysia Business Toolkit.

5) (if you are a Government or semi-Government servants) get loans from some banks to become a business owner of product sold through approved direct sales companies. Just ask the direct sales company you are interested in if they are on such a scheme with a bank.
