If you come across images posted on Flickr that you are interested to use, check to see if there is a Creative Commons License on its link. You can see an example of Creative Commons logo on the slide below.
If it is there, read the terms set by the creator to see if you can use them in your project. Attribute the person whose work you appreciate.
