Pregnant? Check these useful tools.

One of my friends is pregnant with twins and I am thinking if it is such a hassle trying to figure things out for one baby, what must it be like to do it twice over at the same time?

Here are some tools from BabyCenter that she will find useful, if only I have discovered them earlier.

Enter the date of the first day of your last period and find out when is baby's due date

You can get a Weekly Pregnancy Calendar to find out the baby's development in your womb during your stage of pregnancy. You will have to sign up as a member for this though.

Do you know that by checking your pregnancy weight gain you maybe able to find out if you are having twins?

Here are some useful tools and information that she could still make use of. Before the baby arrives, what must she do?

1) create her own birth plan.

2) Do a Product Recall Finder check before buying any children's products.

2) Check Baby Name Finder if she is looking for a Christian name and for Chinese names, she can refer to my experience for some tips.

3) Run a Childproofing checklist.

4) Prepare Packing list for the hospital or birth center.

And if she is facing health issues while pregnant and needs advise, she can do a search on the website. Here is one on hypothyroidism, a problem she is facing with this pregnancy.

She can also calculate what the First-Year Costs will be like.

After delivery she can:

1) find out who shares her twins' Birthdays and record notable events and fun trivial that fall on that very day.

2) learn the Age-by-age guide to feeding baby.

3) prepare homemade wholesome baby food.
