Trained philosophers at your finger tips

Do you have a question to ask but do not know who to turn to for answers? Maybe, it is a question raised by your children and you are wondering how best to answer them.

Don't turn your hair white thinking about it. Just go to Ask Philosophers, a website set up by an Amherst philosophy professor, Alexander George, and ask away. Your questions will be answered by thoughtful folks who are knowledgeable trained philosophers.

Not happy with the answer? Don't suffer in silence, join their AskPhilosophers Group to discuss it and find better answers.

Professor Alexander George efforts has also inspired the creation of Philosophy for Kids and a book, “What Would Socrates Say?”, which is a compilation of some of the best questions and answers from Ask Philosophers.

As the name of the book implies, you have been warned. At Ask Philosophers, your question maybe answered with a question ala Socratic.
